04.06.2012 This is a recompile of Max's Edit Poly modifier, the difference being that the Caddies are now disabled by default (NC = No Caddies), and the old-style pre-Max 2011 windows are used again for operations like 'Bevel', 'Inset' etc. Additionally, Josef has added a MAXScript property which allows toggling the Caddies on or off again. He has included a macroscript which allows you to do just this during runtime. |

07.11.2021 Texture Layers allows you to keep and animate all of your mapping channels in just one modifier, including its own sub-object face/patch selection. You can copy, cut, paste, save and load mapping channels inside the same modifier, or from one modifier to another. Usual mapping techniques are fine for objects like boxes, spheres or cylinders, but even a simple procedural object like the torus is almost impossible to map well with traditional mapping techniques, not to mention more complex models like the ones you work with every day. Here is where TexLay fills the gap with its two procedural mapping types, Spline Mapping and Free Form Mapping. 29.06.2010 Hair.Basic, as the name says, is a very basic way of getting hair onto your characters utilizing some traditional tools already in Max with its proprietary functionality. This is currently an early 'alpha' version of the tool and it is neither feature complete nor stable (or optimized), so please use it with that in mind. Hair basic is compatible with Ornatrix/Hairtrix so owners of that plugin can use its styling and rendering tools to do more with it. However, for anyone else the geometry export should allow rendering with any renderer for now. |
