Jerry Ylilammi | BerconMetaball v1.14 229 KB |
Object |
Compiled / Description | ||
12.05.2010 This is very similar to Max's own Blobmesh, but without the viewport preview. It also only works with V-Ray v1.50 SP3a and higher. Advantages over the standard Blobmesh are: - It requires very little RAM (it's possible to render 10,000,000 particles with ~2GB) - It is perfectly smooth with no meshing artifacts - It supports true 3D motion blur - A very fast preparation time due to the lack of mesh generation at render time - Supports textures as density fields More information and some examples can be found at the ChaosGroup forum. |
