New Plugin: Animation
ATK is a compact suite of modular tools to rig, copy and manipulate animation in a few clicks, without plugin dependency. A powerful built-in macro-sequencer makes it easy to combine 27 devices in concert. Each tool can be instanced, so you never have to play memory games with your settings. You can create a palette of tools and save them as presets for later.
ATK gives you per-object control with an integrated parametric system dubbed 'Prism'. Use curves to set weights, timing, transforms and much more. Cherry pick the order of distribution or use several automatic sort methods including distance, volume and hierarchy.
Animators Tool Kit is available for Max 2010 to 2014 and costs $25. A demo version is available here.

Site News: Just over 3 weeks until the EndUserEvent
I thought I'd post this again, because it rolled off the front page at the beginning of the month...
For all of you that are based in Europe, take a look at the EndUserEvent site. This is one of the best CG events of the year, and it's taking place again at the end of June in Utrecht, Holland.
It's not a huge event, which is a big plus, and it takes place in a pub, which is an even bigger plus. They have some great speakers this year, and they will also be in the pub most of the time, ready for a chat. I'll be there again this year, and I'm doing a talk for the first time, which will be good for my nerves :o) Good thing it takes place in a pub!
Registration has opened up, and for the amount of talks you get from some big names in the industry, it really doesn't cost that much. Hopefully some of you will come along, and make sure to say 'Hi' if you see me.

Site News: Available for contract work...
This is my monthly news entry to let people know that I am always available for 3D work (I don't just run this site, and I don't earn any money from it).
My main areas of work are commercials, industrial and technical animation, as well as programming and scripting. All of the relevant information can be found on my other site Animation Design, along with some videos of my work to give you an idea of what I can do. So if I can help out at all, just let me know.

Site News: Calling all freeware plugin developers
If you are a plugin developer with source code for plugins that you don't develop anymore, it would be great if you could get in touch with me. I would be glad to recompile as many old plugins as possible to stop them from disappearing for ever. Just mail me to let me know what sort of stuff you've got.
On a side note, this is how the Messiah:studio plugins got recompiled for Max 9 to 2012, as well as all of the Sisyphus plugins, so it's worth sending stuff my way :o)
Dave
