12.08.2001 Exports untextured models from Max to 3do files (used in Total Annihilation, a realtime strategy game) just like they appear in Max (without any trifaces if there aren't any in Max). The exporter needs an object named 'base' in the scene and will export all objects that are linked it. To easily link objects, use the link button or open schematic view. Since no textures are exported from Max the models still need to be textured in 3do Builder or any other suitable tool. |

07.06.2001 With this plugin you can import fully textured TA models (used in Total Annihilation, a realtime strategy game) into Max for build pic rendering. There is not much to the importer, just click File/Import and pick a 3do model to import. Be aware that it won't work without the TA textures in your Max bitmap path, you can get them here. |

17.05.2001 This is a recompile of the original Bitmaptexture, the only difference being the time rollout. I dumped the playbackrate spinner, and there is now a Framevalue that is animatable. This makes it possible to keyframe the frame of the image sequence. You can control the frame with script controllers for view-dependent texture mapping etc., allowing the creation of RealPeople-type effects. |

23.06.2002 DigiPeople is a collection of procedural, low-resolution mannequins that can be quickly inserted into your Max scenes to help create crowds, give your architectural models an understandable visual scale and otherwise populate your scenes. DigiPeople is the perfect plugin for users that need to add people to their scenes, but can't afford the system overhead that high resolution people add to the scene. Each model that comes with DigiPeople has approximately 2000 - 3000 faces, so they won't take up much memory or hurt your render times. You can choose from 6 different categories: Males, Females, Children, Handicapped Individuals, Bones (for use with Bones Pro) and Groups. All of the models also come with pre-assigned MultiSubObject materials so users can quickly and efficiently alter the clothing to suit their particular needs. Because of the models' low face count (the male is 2308 faces) DigiPeople is great for use in architectural renderings. |

26.10.2008 FolderGit is a very useful navigation shortcut tool for XP and Vista, both 32 and 64 bit. It is comprised of Windows Explorer context menu items, a systray icon and a UI for editing the path sets. It works within Windows Explorer and also within your applications via the open/save dialogs, adding items to the Right Click Context menu: these items are a list of directories, and selecting one of them takes your current explorer/dialog to the location picked. It is a huge time saver if you have multiple projects in multiple places, or a single project with many sub-elements, where you may find yourself navigating from one place to another repeatedly. It also has special support for non-standard Windows dialogs - namely Fusion, Nuke, Boujou, Total Commander, Visual Studio, and Softimage XSI. For personal or non-commercial use there are no requirements to register FolderGit and you are free to use it for your personal/non-commercial work, but if you find it useful you might consider making a donation. RPManager licensees get a free site license of FolderGit. If you don't fit into any of these categories - ie commercial usage, don't have an RPManager license - and find foldergit useful then you should consider purchasing a license, which is $25 for a single machine, or $100 for an unlimited site license (single location). Evaluate for 30 days, see if it would save you time. |
