Plugin Update: Utilities

Changes for v2.45 are:
- Adds custom Pmodifier Plugin support
- You can now save pmodifiers and execute them
- There are now more than 3 levels of nested property support
- Loading saved renderStacks data from file no longer wipes out the existing selection set
- Fixes the Map/Material right-click menu when the Map/material button is empty
- Fixes a problem with Focal Length overscan

- Adds the ability to open MatLibs and Max files in the Max Material Browser (Max 2021+)

- Fixes some minor issues with the Asset View dialog
- Fixes an issue that sometimes occurred when working with Slate Material Editor
- Fixes an issue with applying an activation key
- Fixes a bug with opening a plugin in scenes containing Anima objects

New Plugin: Utilities

MaxNuker is a shot camera based comp generator, simplifying moving your Max scene to Nuke. You need no manual setup for camera projections, no plugin usage on camera projections, no unwrapping and texture baking setup, no high-poly - low-poly mesh baking, no manual 3D compositing setup for nuke, no manual multi-channel render setup and no further lighting setup in Nuke. It supports multipass relighting and 3D compositing.

MaxNuker is available for Max 2017 to 2022 and costs $69. A demo version is available here.


Plugin Update: Renderers

Changes for v1.0.28 are:
- Adds a feature to ignore visible emitters through reflecting or transmitting dielectrics
- Fixes a bug where the tone operator was not applied to the preview
- Fixes a crash if caustics were used with an importance greater than 1

Changes for v3.5.04 are:
- Fixes a potential Max crash when logging missing scene resources at render time
- Fixes a Maya issue where orphaned OSL shader output attributes weren't deleted after a recompile
- A warning is issued if a Maya shader connection can't be represented by an RS shader connection
- Motion vector units and scale are now supported for meshes in Maya
- Fixes a Maya crash when motion vectors/velocity based motion blur is used
- Extensions can now register to use any node types in Maya
- An extra Beauty AOV is output when Global AOV is set to Remainder with no listed lights groups
- Fixes a Maya issue when the redshiftOptions.imageFilePrefix attribute is locked
- Fixes a C4D issue where aborting a bake in progess was not possible
